WaveBaseball.com was created in February of
2002 by David Browning.
As an avid photographer for many years, I
decided to jump into digital photography, so I
purchased an Olympus C700uz. I then
needed a subject(s) to photograph, and since I
have been a Tulane Baseball season ticket holder
for many years, I decided to take some pictures
of the ball games.
My first game, I took about 20 or 30
pictures, and published them on my personal
website. I did this for another 2
games, publishing pictures of each game.
To my surprise, in the first 2 weeks, I had
over 40,000 hits! I decided to move the
pictures from my personal site, and
WAVEBASEBALL.COM was born on February 24,
2002.
It is now Summer of 2002, and I have received
over 900,000 hits. I want to thank
all of the Tulane Baseball fans, as this site
could not exist without your
assistance.
